"Contact not found" when launching URI

I'm trying to launch the RemoteAssist app via my HoloLens application and jump back after the call.
While launching and returning works as expected, remote assist states "Contact not found: We couldn't find the specified contact."
I double, triple, and quadruple-checked the objectID from the contact and I'm also able to call the contact via RemoteAssist directly. Is there some other stuff except the actual objectID that could be wrong here?

    Hi Chris4AAG, 

    Have you verified the actual request being made for which you are getting this error by any tracing tool? 

    I would suggest raising a support ticket to Microsoft to further investigate this request and assist you on this scenario.
