How to expose Item Card fields on Web Services

Posted on by Microsoft Employee

Hello,

I am using NAV 2013. We are working on the Web Services and we want to expose Item Card fields on Web.

For example, we want the  Unit Cost visible on the web. I would appreciate if someone can give some instruction.

Thank you!

If you expose a page then all the fields on that page are available for your webservice, if you don't have the fields required you just need to add those to the page.

    Hi Allen,

You can create new page (using Item Table) with the require fields and publish it as Web Service. Later one can read the data from this Published Web Service and display over Web.

Refer following link for the details.

    Hope this helps.
