Dear Ken,
We assume you are talking about Customer Maintenance. Here you would just enter the customer id you want to use and its name, the other fields are mostly optional. Its really driven by your own business need, so you can look at other customers to see how they are setup and go from there.

Without knowing quite a bit more about your company and how it's setup, I'd hesitate to try to answer you fully. However, I would suggest that you start with the Customer Maintenance screen in Accounts Receivable.
Thanks for your response, but I was actually referring to setup of a new business customer for the organization. We have many clients that's already setup in SL Dynamics for contracting, billing etc, but this client will be totally new. Any help on this is greatly appreciated.

I'm assuming you'd like to add a user to the SL system, in which case you'd use the User Maintenance screen in the Administration module. You'll also need to give them access to screens, either by adding them to groups in Group Maintenance or individually in the Access Rights Maintenance screens, also found in the Administration module.
