Hi all,

I have many started productions right now (around 40 in total) each production has in avg 5 operations. Each operation is attached to only one resource (1:1) for Job Scheduling.

I have notice that sometimes for some productions. some operation are not being scheduled and the job scheduled being canceled.. You guys now why? what can I do to avoid that? what is the reason for a certain operation to be canceled from scheduling?

I have been starting the same production many times, rescheduled the jobs but is the same. the resource is not being attached on the scheduling tab and is marked as canceled.

your help is greatly appreciated. thanks a lot for your time guys

Production Control Parameter -> Journals -> Uncheck "Update capacity Plan"

I've got to the source of the problem, (not yet the solution)

1. Reset the production order to created

2. started again, and all operations an working as spected.

3. post a route card with 100% or more of the processing percentage.

4. Synchronize the Job table on Production -> Periodic ->Synchronize job table.

you will not be able to clock in more hours from the job Registration form because the Operation has been "completed" (run time has been reached).

no. both are primary. I did not approve the route version since the change was made on the production not on the item

and also after added new operation. Did you approve Route version ?

did you set priority to secondary . As I see that same operation in sequence.

Hi Faiz, thanks a lot for your reply

I have all my resources set to the same calendar.

I have added a new operation (No 5) with the same operation/resource as the one that is not working and re-scheduled the production. For the new is working and the old one is still the same. the only thing I noticed is that there is already time used in the feedback (0.14hrs) for that operation (No 10)

Hi Nestor,

Kindly check the calender.

Production Control Route – Operation – Resources – Right click and or click View resource – Resource form – Resource groups – Calendar.

Calender is associated with the resources and the working times are updated.

Organization administration –>Calendars – >Calendars – 24 Hours– Working times and check the form is not empty or that the days don’t have Control set to Closed.
