Can I customize the Coversheet in Relationship Management Interactions?

I am setting up interactions in Relationship Management, Navision 2009.  The coversheet that is currently there is not very attractive.

I have created one in Classic and set it up as an attachment.   But I would like to be able to attach different styles of coversheets dependant upon the situation.  Can the coversheet in interactions be customized as required without having to set it up each time?  Can one have multiple coversheets?

You can create as many interaction templates as you wish.  You can set up multiple Coversheets, etc.  However if you are creating an interaction log from the Contact Card, in the base product you are not offered the opportunity to make changes to whichever document is used in the interaction.  The Interaction Log Wizard simply sends the document "as- is" except that it imports the address fields, name, etc. via the word merge feature in Microsoft Word.  But the text or body content of the document is the same for every interaction created using that document.  To send a different Coversheet using the Wizard, you would have to create a different Coversheet for each situation that you want covered.  But this can be done because you are not restricted on the number of interaction templates that can be created.  Each interaction template would just need to have a unique name or code.

However, you can make changes to the body content of an interaction document "on-the-fly" when interactions are sent using the Segment function in NAV.  Here you have the option of changing the document for one or more recepients before the document is sent.  When a document is altered in this manner, it can be identified because the program changes the Attachment property from Inherited to Unique on the Segment line for the Contact the document was altered for.  This allows the user to know that the document has been changed.

You can find information in the Online Help in NAV by searching on "segments".  Select the topic of "Interactions and Segments" for additional information on how this can be accomplished.
