Worker Primary Position

Hi everebody,

I' am exporting some information from HR using Electronic Reporting.

Now, I am able to read the table HcmWorkerPRimaryPosition that should store the worker primary assigned position history.

unfortunately checking the generated file, it contains only the last primary position assignement.

Does anyone help me?

Following the details:

Data Source: Dynamics 365 for Operations - Table records.

What do you mean "How they are connected in Electronic Reporting?"?

I mapped the output recordlist with the table name, and the I have mapped strictly the various fileds. See the attached image. Is that what you mean?

Unfortunately I can't......

May I give some additional information:

I have created a data Model with 7 recordlist structure for dowloding entities and tables.

I have used these model in the model mapping where I added enumeration(where required) but there aren't filters or where on the data source.

The final result is correct for all the entity, but the hcmworkerprimaryposition table contains only the latest record version and not the history of the primary posiotion assignement as I expected.

A consultant told me that he saw all the data in the above table.

Now what I would like to understand is:

- Is th hcmworkerprimaryposition the table I need?

- If yes, why I can't see all the data?

- If no, do you know where is these information?

Hi Giorgio,

The table you are using is the correct one. It is part of a date-effective framework where in the table itself all historical records are visible, but on form calls and logic, usually the current active record(s) are fetched. So I do suspect that you now only get the current active active position and not all others. Not sure if it is related to a setting in your data source definition or if ER is only using the active records.

Have you tried to create another test report with only this table instead of all others?

I have done a new test report only with the only the hcmworkerprimaryposition, and as you mentioned, the output file contains only the active records.

I think as you, that ER as a configuration for using only active records.

Do you have some idea or workaround?
