Is there someone out there that can help me, let me some good guide or explain me what step should i do to understand the topic ?
Here the documentation i'm using:
https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamicsax-2012/appuser-itpro/microsoft-dynamics-ax-2012-technical-library (the worst one)
https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/human-resources/hr-admin-integration-choose-technology
Pls help me, i need this job done for a client and i'm stuck!
Super cool, thank you fro the help Parag ;)
No no in my case i have two twins HR application located in two different tenant. My goal is get all the entities from the first one and put them the to second. I think I'm gonna use excel even if there is a lot of data, seems the most safe way. May you have some specific documentation to do that ? thank you in advice.
Yes, for example. If you want to export data to the Azure SQL database then you can configure BYOD in HR and set up the entities. It will directly export your data to the database without using excel or XML.

Hi Parag,
thank you for your reply.
I already reed the doc you mentioned, but the data migration paragraph says " You can move data entities straight from one system to another, without having to go through Excel, or XML. "
So should i assume that there is a way to do that directly, do you recommend to using Excel as a "Driver" instead ?
PS I'm a newbie in data migration :)
Hi Antonio,
If you want to migrate data from HR system to another then first you need to identify what data you want to migrate and use DMF framework to export data in excel.
