Hello,
I noticed that only the user with the system administrator role has the possibility to edit the activated quote. To test this I did the following:
1. I copied the System Administrator role and created new role system_administrator _copy.
2. Assigned the copied role to the user and saw that he could not edit the activated offer, as with the original role.
My question is why a user with a copied System Administrator role does not have the same functionality and permissions as the original role. Can someone help me with this?
I will be grateful for any help.
This is an OOB functionality once the quote is activated user can’t edit it as the quote record is shown in the Read-Only form, even though the original System Admin is also unable to edit the quote record once it is activated.
If you want to edit the activated quote then, first you need to click on the Revise button, and then only you can edit the quote record. This applies to all security roles. Refer to the below screenshot.
Thanks!
