Inventory Overstock Issue

Hi - Our company has been experiencing an issue with overstocking inventory items, primarily due to our production not building our systems at a fast enough pace compared to the inventory volume we are receiving. Given our warehouse size/setup, we are experiencing issues with overstocking items and then replenishing once we need to move the overstock to its proper space.

Does anyone have advice on how to track overstock inventory within GP? Such as notifying when items are getting low and need to be re-filled?

Good Day

An 'out of the box' GP install, in SmartList, under Inventory, has a built in object called 'Overstocked Items'

This object appears to show items where the On Hand Qty is greater than Order Up To Level

You could start with something like that and using SmartList Designer customize an object to meet your needs.
