Exporting and importing Marketing Lists

New user here. Another question.

If a Marketing List is exported as an Excel doc and some of the contacts information are edited or new contacts are added outside of D365 CRM, and then the list is imported back into D365 CRM, how does the edited information affect what is in ALL CONTACTS? That is, will newly added contacts to the Marketing List be added to ALL CONTACTS automatically and will any updated information to existing contacts be edited automatically in ALL CONTACTS?

    Hi UCXButler,

    The Marketing List entity has N:N relationship with Contact entity, and you can use XrmToolBox plugin for importing N:N relationships

    XrmToolBox : https://www.xrmtoolbox.com/ 

    Manage NN relationships: https://github.com/MscrmTools/XrmToolBox/wiki/Manage-NN-relationships 

    But it can build existing contacts and marketing lists relationship.

    If you want to update or create new contacts, you need export contacts list to edit or add firstly, than you can use Manage NN relationships tool to import.
