Yes you can install it to your computer and there is no problem with that.

If you have the SQL then installation will not install SQL and if not NAV will install express version of SQL to your computer. Since you want to have server and client both in your machine, select the custom installation step and then select all the options from the components. This will install helpserver as well.
Yes, you can. I guess, you want full installation on your computer, both client and server. You need SQL on your computer, but if you have not it, in installation process, you can choose to install SQL Express.
When you run setup, I recommend to choose custom installation. Then, you can choose all necessary components.
I want to give you system requirements, but I don't know what NAV version you want to install.
