Mode of delivery in Sales Orders is not transferred into Shipment form?

Hi,

I’m working on AX2012 rev3 and it looks like the Mode of delivery you enter in the Sales Order (Delivery > Misc.delivery info) is not being transferred into the equivalent field in the ‘Shipment details form’ in Transportation management.

How can I transfer the information about the Mode of delivery stated in the sales order to who will be managing the transport?

Thank you!

    Hi Leandro,

Have you already check the reported issues on LCS (https://fix.lcs.dynamics.com)?

    Hi Leandro,

You can't create Modes of Delivery directly yourself if you want to use them in R3 Warehouse processes.

You have to create them via the 'Shipping carrier' setup form. You'll find this in the setup area of both the Transportation Management module and the Warehouse Management module.

You need to create all of the Shipping Carriers that you use, and then create each service that they provide. When you add a service to a carrier, AX will automatically create a Mode of Delivery for you. If you use this Mode of Delivery, then various pieces of data will be populated on the sales order, and this will copy through onto the Shipment.

    Kind regards
