Hello,

I am missing the Gantt control from the list of available controls. Any idea what may be the issue? Note I am able to access the GanttCalender classes. Thank you.

    Dear Anthonymgy,

Try making the form design pattern to custom, it may help.

    Dear Atul,

I made the Form design custom but the Gantt control still did not appear.

    Hi Anthonymgy,

Ensure your model has a reference to the ApplicationFoundation model. Then the Gantt control and some more will appear.

    Hi André,

Thanks for your suggestion. I made sure it references ApplicationFoundation but the Gantt control is still missing.

Did you also refresh the models or restarted Visual Studio after adding the reference?

    Hi André,

The reference was already added. I also tried restarting Visual Studio and refreshing the models but the new controls still do not show up.

What exact version of Dynamics 365 F&O are you using? Is the form where you want to add the Gantt control in the same model as where you added the model references?

The following is my version. The form is contained in the model that references ApplicationFoundation

Are you able to check it on a new deployed VM? Did you also create a new form and check if the Gantt control is visible on the main design node? I just checked it on a bit newer version, but it should be available in 10.0.24.

    Hi André,

Thanks for your help. I tried it on a newly deployed VM and it worked. All the new controls are shown with the same product and platform version as my other VM so it is definitely available on 10.0.24. Therefore, it seems the issue is from the VM.. Any idea what exactly it could be? I would rather fix it on the VM I am currently working with. I also created a new form on many different models but the new list of controls are not shown.
