Sales Professional and Sales Enterprise License in One Instance

Hi ma'am/sir,

Good day! Can I ask if Sales Professional License and Sales Enterprise License co-exist in one instance?

For example, in Instance #1, we have Employee A and Employee B, is it possible that Employee A has a Sales Professional License while Employee B is using Sales Enterprise License?

Thank you in advance!

All the best,

JeromeE

    Hi JeromeE,

Unfortunately, we cannot do this. We can not mix and match users with the different licenses Sales Professional License and Sales Enterprise License in the same instance.

A user with a Professional application is licensed only for that application and therefore may not directly or indirectly access another instance with an Enterprise application for the same workload. Conversely, as an Enterprise license includes the Professional capabilities for the same workload, an Enterprise user may access the Professional application instance. However, the functionality in the Professional application will still be limited to the Professional features of that workload.

    Hi sir,

"Unfortunately, we cannot do this. We can not mix and match users with the different licenses in the same instance."

What do you mean by "different licenses"? Are you referring to all licenses? Or just in Sales Enterprise and Professional Licenses?

Also, can Customer Engagement Plan and Sales Enterprise License coexist in one instance? How about Customer Engagement Plan and Team Member License?

    Thank you so much,

    JeromeE

    Hi JeromeE,

I am only referring to Sales Enterprise and Professional Licenses, not all licenses.

At a tenant level any combination of applications can be deployed. However, Enterprise and Professional applications of the same workload must be installed on separate instances (e.g. Sales Enterprise and Sales Professional).

Customer Engagement Plan and Sales Enterprise License can exist in one instance, as can Customer Engagement Plan and Team Member License.

Can team member licenses be added to work with a Sales Pro instance only? Or does team member only go with an enterprise instance? based on above I would assume that Team Member assigned users could access pro and enterprise instances
