Dynamics 365 data backup to a thirdparty clould or local

Dear Experts,

We are using dynamics 365 data backup hosted on the azure cloud, and looking for ways to backup the data for more than 30 days( the standard offered by dynamics 365)

And we are exploring ways to backup the data to some thirdparty clould or local.

appreciate your help and support. thanks in advance.

    Hey!

    Out of the box, there's no way to export backups on Dynamics 365 CRM online / Dataverse.  You can however use other out of the box tools (like Azure Synapse, https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/powerapps/maker/data-platform/azure-synapse-link-synapse) to export specific tables on your side.

    There are some third party tools (OwnBackup, AvePoint, both available on appsource.microsoft.com).  However, backups/restore are within the same range (30 days for Dynamics production, 7 days for sandbox or power platform production).

    You can use Skyvia for this task. Here are 3 possible use cases:
    1. Use Skyvia Backup
    2. Replicate to the DB/DWH and then restore from it
    3. Automated data upload in CSV format on a regular basis
