Workflow Stopped (error): X++ Exception: User not found.

Hi, All.

We have created purchase requsition and add particular financial dimension to that PR. After that we have added one user as/in owner table of that financial dimension value which was added to pr but when we submit pr to the workflow we get below error.

Our PR workflow goes for the "Financial dimension owner" for approval.

Have anyone faced this scenario. Pls help.

Please check the employee selected as owner is attached /mapped with user id in AX or not?

As Jaz suggested - most probably the Employee assigned as Financial dimension value owner:

Is not connected to any User in System administration. Below you see correct setup:

Please double check that and let us know whether the issue has been resolved ?

Hello Uk257,

Have a look at below areas if configured properly.

-- Position Hierarchy in HR module. Once you configure the "Report to position" in 'Positions' form; automatically position hierarchy will be updated.

-- Make sure that you have added the correct user in "Persons" field in System admin > Users.

-- The particular user which is showing in error; must be set to "Enabled" in System admin > Users.

Hi, All.

Apologies for the late reply.

I have checked user relation under system administrator. User is linked with the person same as user name.

Also checked the user is enable in system administrator.

I have checked employees form under HR module for particular user. There is no position assigned with particular user. Refer screenshot.

Is it necessary to link position with employee. Pls reply.

Hi UK257,

Assigning position when Purchase requisition reviewers is used in workflow is not necessary. It is used only for hierarchy workflow.

If you still have troubles, please open Service Request to Microsoft support so it can be investigated deeper.
