Notifications for Workflows

Hi. We have set up workflows for Purchase Invoice and General journal posting, all works well except notifications about approvals pending are not showing in the notification pane/list. What needs to be set up to make them work? We have Job Queue Entities for codeunits 454, 1509 and 1545 running every 5 minutes but still no notifications received. Please help.

    @Ruslan: I think the notification setup can be found on "Approval User Setup" Page. Apart from that you must also create a value of Notification Type in the "Notification Setup" Page.

    Hi Mustufa,

    Thanks. All that was done and configured. I have notifications created and listed in the Sent Notification Entries however they never appeared on the top right Notifications menu (next to Search and Feedback icons). My setup on Approval Users notifications setup says: type = Approval, Method = Note, Schedule = Instantly, Display Target = Web (but also tried Windows. What each stands for, by the way?)

    @Ruslan: I only used to raise a notification alert to the required user via e-mail.
