Warning display while entering suspended dimension value

Hi,

   When I try to enter the suspended dimension value in the Purchase order, I get following warning as "Dimension value  is suspended". But when I try to enter same suspended financial dimension value in the purchase requisition, vendor or customers form, it does not throw any warning. Is there any reason for that?

    Hi Alok,

    The difference might be the fact that the purchase order entry creates account distributions which checks for allowed values.

    E.g. the vendors form has no direct financial integration and does not check for the suspended status nor valid combinations if there are combinations defined using e.g. account structures.

    This is due to the advanced rules structure. The department dimension is not allowed for this ledger account.
