Hello All

Have a customer on the most current version of GP2018 - When they run a Historical Aging by Document Date it shows 2 items from 2019 that are fully applied - we verified in the PM30200 that all the dates were 2019, it is in History there is nothing related to any of the open tables but if we run the same report by GL Posing date - the items do not show up =  - not really sure why that is happening -

    RE: Historical Aging Report

    Hello Sdcraig,

The HATB report looks at the Apply Date, Apply Amount, to determine when it shows and drops off the reports.

As you are able to run the report using GL Posting Date and not have it show but when you use the Document Date it shows, then it tells me the GL Posting Date vs the Document Date are different. In the screenshots below, you can see the two dates in the PM30300 table.

What i would do is look at the PM30300 for the documents on the report you are questioning to see what these are. You can test updating the date in SQL to be the date you want it to not show on the report and see if it drops off.

    From the help menu:

    Select Transactions For Report Using

Mark GL Posting Date or Document Date to determine the transactions that should appear on the report. This option is available only when you’re printing the Historical Aged Trial Balance.

The posting date might be different from the document date of the entered transactions. For example, assume you enter and post a transaction with January 15, 2007, as the document date and January 20, 2007, as the posting date. If you print a trial balance with a posting date range of January 20, 2007, to January 20, 2007, the transaction would be included on the report. If you print a trial balance report with a document date range of January 20, 2007, to January 20, 2007, the transaction wouldn’t be included on the report.

    I hope this helps!
