Printing a GTIN Barcode on an SSRS Report

Hello,

We are in the midst of a conversion from a legacy ERP system to Dynamics AX 2012.

We are modifying the SSRS Pick Ticket form and we need to print the UPC on each line next to the SKU. In our old system we did this easily by installing the proper barcode font for Crystal reports (in the old system the pick ticket form was written in Crystal).

Our SSRS consultant has been able to get a barcode to print on the form- but not in the correct format. She is telling us it is not possible in SSRS but I find this difficult to believe. We are trying to print a GTIN UPC-A format (which is a commonly used format) like this:

    there are many barcode font for SSRS reports, and you can get by google "barcode generator in SSRS reports". or you want to generate UPC-A barcode images in SSRS with your old barcode font for crystal report? If yes, I think maybe you can post your question at

    You can use a barcode .net dll to generate UPC-A in Crystal Reports, which generates the UPC barcode in images.

    Another option is to install the font on the AOS. Then using .NET inside x++ you can generate an image (using the barcode font) and save it to the table for the SSRS report to display.

    Dear Kyle,

    Could you please give me more instruction about "using .NET inside x++ you can generate an image and save it to the table" because I have problem with barcode scanner. The ssrs report display barcode very well, but the scanner can not scan it.

    for upc-A barcode printing c# , i find one software that working well in printing this kind of barcodes and it can be compatible after you install. it is easy and simple to manipulate.
