Sales Accelerator Sequence - Insert Dynamic User Text not working shows "SYSTEM"

We have email templates for contacts and leads that /insert dynamic text/ in the footer Name, Title, Email, etc from their user record.
This has worked for a long time and these sequences and templates are not new and worked in the past. 

In testing, email send dynamic user text still inserts and works fine in sending an email from the contact or lead record but is returning /SYSTEM/ where those same field or fields are when sent through a Sale Accelerator Sequence (one that used to work, and we tried creating a new one - same result).

We are heavy Sales Accelerator Sequence users. This is a new issue - same template.  We checked the settings - send from record owner, etc and record owner is heavy user-  is all correct.   

Anybody else encounter this issue with dynamic text insertion.  Seems that Contact and Lead record insertion (e.g. first name) is working just the USER record info?

Maybe a Sequence update bug?

    Only user record dynamic value not work in the Sequence?
    It was working fine before, but now it's suddenly not working?
    All users?
    Reasonably considering that it's a bug created by the update, I suggest you create a support ticket for professional assistance following the below procedure.

    I have also encountered this issue. There really is no good way to test emails or the entire sequence to be fully certain there will be no issues.
