How to completely delete a batch job

Dear 

a user created a batch job by mistake , now i deleted from the Click Home > Inquiries > Batch jobs > My batch jobs.

but it is still as if the the batch is running , how can i make sure it is deleted for good?

    Hi,

    Please check your batchjob is not existing on Batch jobs form (Path: \Menus\SystemAdministration\Inquiries\Batch jobs\Batch jobs) and if it is present delete it(you need to change status of batchjob from waiting/executing state to withhold state through Functions>Change status button before deleting it).If you feel the batch job is still getting executing/executed(due to some reason) then you can check the history of the batch job through following Path: \Menus\SystemAdministration\Inquiries\Batch jobs\Batch job history.

    Hi Silvano, 
    Change batch job status to "withinhold" and press Alt+F9 to remove it.
    Double check your batch jobs at System administration - inquiries - batch jobs
