Create webservices XML-Dynamics ax

Hi

Please help me with this request

I need create webservices in dynamics ax, this webservices, should be in xml o json and so i can reading from another application.

I would like you to show me an example of how to do this.

    Hi Miguel,

    Services in AX works on XML when they are called from any other application however, these the XML data needs to be send to AX in specific formats which are accepted by AX each service.  Over this link msdn.microsoft.com/.../aa633136.aspx the XML structure is given as an example so that if anyone wants to call sales order service of AX from any other application using XML they have to send data using this format.

    Now, you can search for options how to call AX services from other applications. These will always be XML format.

    You shouldn't worry too much about the serialization format - it's usually hidden from the consuming application and can be changed simply by editing a configuration file. So it's really not very important for you.

    AX offers several types of web services - which one you need depends on what you're trying to achieve.

    In general, document services are for exchanging larger entities, such as orders. Custom services are the traditional web services exposing service operations (methods). There are also system services, such as the query service.
