Rounding off BOM estimated Quantity on production order to 2 decimals

I am trying to see if there is any setting in production orders module where we can set the BOM Estimation round off to certain decimals. I see there is a setting on each BOM Line but i want to have it across company for all the production orders. Please let me know if there is a setting..

    No, you can't... Kind off... All BOM calculations use 3 decimal. The only way would be to have a unit that is a multitude to the decimal rounding you require.

    Say you use grams as unit, then you would need to do calculations in kilograms to round off to a whole gram. Keep in mind that it does round off both ways, so a requirement under 0,5 grams will be 0. Even aggregated.

    You can also change the Extended data type used for BOM calculation to x decimals, but I urge you not to do so...

    Thank you for the suggestion. We have gone through the route of configuring a Round off precision field for BOM consumption value and based on the precision we do the round off calculation. Though this is not a perfect solution, seems to work for now ..
