Hello Community,

Does anyone know if it's possible to set up Microsoft Teams integration with Dynamics 365, using the 30-day free trial instance of Dynamics 365, for demo purposes?

Hi partner,

I applied for a trial environment and I tried to integrate it with Teams. It worked well.

Hi Leo,

Thanks for the info! Yes, I was able to enable the Microsoft Teams Integration under System Settings in my Dynamics 365 trial environment.

But my question is: how can I launch the Teams that's connected to my Dynamics 365 trial environment? I don't think the Dynamics 365 trial environment comes with the corresponding Teams app using the same office 365 account as the trial?

Thanks for your reply.

1.We need to download and install the Microsoft Teams manually here.

2.We login the Teams with our trial account of D365.

Get the Dynamics 365 app in Teams and configure the organization.

And then, enjoy it :)

Go to Settings –>Administrator –> System Settings –> General and Click on Microsoft Teams Integration to Yes. You can connect and access your Teams with many other apps. Search 'Dynamics 365' and install the app for Teams.

My understanding is that Teams integration is only supported for the Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement apps. Does anyone know if Teams integration is supported for Finance & Operations, or Business Central?

Hi Leo,

Would you know if there is a way to set up so that the "Chat" messages in Teams can be automatically captured on the Dynamics 365 record form? It doesn't appear to be a feature as part of the Teams integration with Dynamics 365, but just want to be sure I am not missing something here.
