How can we bring a column from Product Table to Quote Product Table?

Hello all,

I am trying to use a custom column from our Product table in the Quote Product Table, in order to be able to use it in a quote template.

On the Product table, we have a custom column called Offering type. However, from Quote Product Table, I have not been able to get that Offering type relation, so I can use it in a quote template.

Does someone knows how we can do that?

Have a lovely day,

I have the same question (0)

    Hi HugoS,

The Product table and the Quote Product(also named Quote Line) Table is 1:N relationship.

So you can create another custom field on the Quote Product Table, then try to get value from Product Table to populate the new custom field automatically.

Please refer to the following link to use calculated field to get value from parent entity:

    https://dyn365pros.com/2018/04/18/display-parent-entity-fields-using-calculated-fields-in-dynamics-365/

Or you can use worklfow/flow to populate field automatically if you don't want to use calculated field.
