Problems with columns in Excel

Hi,

I have a problem with the InventOnHand-Form.

I added a field to the InventTable and now the report will show the wrong columns.

Don't know if this is a related problem though.

When I press Ctrl+T in the Inquiries On-hand report with custom fields the column order

is completely wrong compared to how it used to be. The form has not changed.

Sometimes it works, other times not.

Please help out.

I am running AX 2012.and Excel 2013.

    Does "sometimes it works, other times not" means that you're sometimes getting an order that you like and sometimes some an order that you consider wrong? What's the difference between them?

    Yes, sometimes when the report is run the order of the columns are correct.

    The Ctrl+T command creates an Excel-sheet with the following columns:

    CW available CW total available Alcoholic volyme percent CW ordered in total CW available physical CW physical reserved CW physical inventory Volume Property Vintage Warehouse Product name Item number Search name

    and it should be (according to the report, with custom selected fields):

    Item number Search name Product name Warehouse Volume Property Vintage CW physical inventory CW physical reserved CW available physical CW ordered in total CW total available Alcoholic volyme percent CW available

    Hmm i have an application where InventTable has a lot of new fields.

    And i have no problems at all.

    Can you export the elements and put them up for download, then i will have a look.

    Ok it works with my AX2012 R3 with no problems.

    How come it doesn't work sometime? Really strange.

    Yes that is really strange, perhaps it has something to do with the version of Ax you are running.

    I would properly make an error report at MS to get one of their supporters to look at the problem.
