Microsoft Dynamics Nav Database Server Services cannot run

Hi,

Our client can't open their Microsoft Dynamics Nav 2005 due to TCP/IP error.

I tried to run Microsoft Dynamics NAV Database Server on services.msc  but this error on dialog box always prompt.

Windows could not start the Microsoft Dynamics NAV Database Server RCOC-207 service on Local Computer.

Error 1053: The service did not respond to the start or control request in a timely fashion.

Can anyone help me?

    Please post the Event Viewer Log regarding the error.

    Hi Nareshwar,

    I've tried this Steps.

    1. Go to Start > Run > and type regedit

    2. Navigate to: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control

    3. With the control folder selected, right click in the pane on the right and select new DWORD Value

    4. Name the new DWORD: ServicesPipeTimeout

    5. Right-click ServicesPipeTimeout, and then click Modify

    6. Click Decimal, type '180000', and then click OK

    7. Restart the computer

    The services does runs and I advise the store to monitor if error still persist.

    There might be various reasons:

    You might adjust the time delay settings. Or, check firewall settings. Refer more:

    dynamicsuser.net/.../33916
