Hi experts,

How to include Warehouse in Inventory value storage report?

I included criteria to include warehouse in the report, the site is appearing however the warehouse is missing in the report.

The on-hand inventory report has site and warehouse however warehouse is missing im inventory value storage report.

Please advise

I think it would be necessary to make a custom dev to add the logic in to report

Hi,

In case you want to have the warehouse included in the inventory value reports, the Financial column for the Warehouse on the Storage dimension group should be enabled. If this is disabled, the report will not be able to provide the details per warehouse.

Hi,

Thanks for the suggestion.

We have 3 storage dimension groups.

2 dimension groups, warehouse process is enabled therefore i am unable to tick the check box of financial inventory for warehouse, for these two groups.

The group for which warehouse process is not enabled, the financial inventory check box is enabled against the warehouse.

Please advise.

You can't change the settings of the storage dimension groups in case there are already items with transactions. Having the correct dimension groups depends on more requirements. If it is enabled, it will have other impacts as well, like having a separate cost price per warehouse and accounting entries during an inventory transfer posting.

You should check if you want to change the current setup or not. Based on the exact reporting requirement, you can also consider reporting using a custom report or Power BI.

Hi,

My colleague had already answered:

- Storage dimension group: Refer to a Senior financial consultant to understand the correct architecture for you (maybe the third one is for the service items). The implications are beyond the report's purpose.

This flag means: the value of your warehouse is based to the entry segregate by warehouse.

If you are already live, and you need to make it: you can ask a developer to write a script to enable the flag and then launch the revaluation (if the cost is not STD).

Perform this test in a dev and UAT environment with the prod's data before release it.

- stock value: you can flag the warehouse in the inventory value report.
