Phone call Activity count

Hi,

I have a field in which I want to update the no. of phone calls activity in a record.

Let's say, I have an account and on the account's timeline, it has 4 phone call activities. So, in that field, I want to show count 4.

Is there any way to get this?

Please suggest a way if anyone has any idea.

    You can use rollup fields to Count the number of related phone call activity records. The following page has an example for a similar scenario.

    Hi,

    Thank you!!

    Ya, it worked, but as it's a rollup field, it runs as we schedule its occurrence. It doesn't update count value instant automatically and I don't want to use that calculator symbol beside the field to get count instant.

    Is there any way to get instant updation in the count field as phone call activity status changes into completed?
