Okay, at least you know it crashes on AccessViolationException.

If you have no idea which action triggers the problem, you can collect a memory dump on crash and extract the call stack from it. Try uploading it to the Crash and hang analysis service on LCS (another approach is using WinDbg, but it's not very intuitive).

Is this from any specific user machine? or every one is getting that error?

I happens occasionally with all users.

How would I get this memory dump?  It might be worth a shot to upload it to LCS.

Look at Steps to Catch a Simple “Crash Dump” of a Crashing Process, for instance.

LCS crash dump analysis has been discontinued. The button is still there to upload it, but processing will not start.

Your only options are to analyse the dump manually, or to open a support incident with Microsoft and get them check it for you.

Vilmos, do you have more details? My understanding is that it should work for versions before the announcement of discontinuation and the behavior with dumps from newer version is neither defined nor tested (I thought it may still work, that's why I suggested to *try* it). Can you confirm or disprove my assumptions, if you have more information?

    This is the article:

    blogs.msdn.microsoft.com/.../lcs-crash-and-hang-analysis-discontinued

I was happy to see the button working still for our AX 2012 R3 project when a crash happened due to AX trying to allocate duplicate session IDs and causing them to go "Dead" then crash, but after uploading the file, the processing sadly does not start.

I also have asked Arif and Robert about this during the AXUG, and they have replied that the support team still keeps investigating crashes.
