Multiple Tenants with Single Sign-on

Hi Experts,

we are just getting into BC cloud. Have a scenario here, we have office location across different countries and almost most countries localization available in BC. I understand we have to create different tenants for each localization (may be wrong), as a corporate we do have O365 account. Is it possible to use the Single Sign-on or use O365 account to sign-in to different tenants? if yes, any guide please.

Appreciate your help.

Thanks & Regards

    Santhanakrishnan

I was wondering if you were able to figure it out?

I am in the same case as you with legal entities in the US, FRA, GER, ITA...

Were you able to do the multiple instances with one tenant.

Most important is for the finance team to be able to easily access the different legal entities within one interface, and having access to local functionalities.

    Thank you for sharing

Not 100% sure as the ISP did the initial install into the tenancy.  However stand up the instance in your tenancy and then anyone with a D365 BC licence can be imported into the instance and granted user rights.

    No Problem, Thanks Geoffs,

is there any configuration in D365BC SaaS level ? or just only in Azure AD and On-Prem AD level for configuration

We have our On prem Ad replicated to Azure AD.  You will find all the doco in the Azure help documentation.  Not my area sorry.

    Ok Thanks.

Do you have any document support from microsoft, how to configure D365BC level or AAD level which scenario below

    On-premise AD server (

    @efxxx.com)  - Integrated SSO - AAD (maxx.onmicrosoft.com) --O365BC --D365BC cloud

SSO using @efxxx.com as user name access into D365BC cloud

Not really.  We have been advised you can have up to 3 Instances of BC in the same tenant, these can share the Azure Ad of that tenant but we have not created a second production one yet.

We have created a second sandbox and this is done via the admin portal so I would suspect that if you have been provisioned a second or third licence you would create your prod instance from the admin portal in a similar way.    Possibly for us the biggest question is how to secure each instance, i.e. AD security groups or in the app.  We will find out in due course I guess.

The October release is meant to have the ability of multiple instances in a single tenant, this would mean they could share the same azure AD.   Not sure  what form this will take, hopefully similar to the CE side of 365.
