Config package not updating specific fields

Hi there,

Another question for you experts out there.

Okay so I have about 650 Items that I wanted to update the routing number and production BOM for (Yes I know 650 is a lot). 

So I downloaded the config package into excel. Made my specific changes.... the columns that listed routing number and production bom no I changed to their respective ones. When I tried to re upload the package It gave me a red number..... obviously an error. So I deleted the Item line and re uploaded the package..... I thought it was fixed... However there was no change to the Production BOM and Routing number when I went into Items.....

Anyone have any suggestions?

    Do you mind sharing the solution? was it a d365 template instead of the PO templates?
