Integration NAV - Outlook

Posted on by Microsoft Employee

Hello,

I am trying to get the integration work between NAV and outlook (outlook for financials).
I followed this guide: https://saurav-nav.blogspot.be/2016/12/microsoft-dynamics-nav-2017-how-do-i.html

It all works until the last step, the testing. When I open outlook and open the "Document Links" it asks me to sign in.

I press the button and a windows pops open where I can login, after the verification it tells me I can close the windows and go in outlook.
If I do that outlook "Document Links" gives me 2 options "Done" and "Try Again". When I click done it goes back to the first screen with the sign in button, when I click Try Again the login windows pops open again. I'm stuck in this loop and don't know how to fix this, any idea's?

Kind Regards,

Nicasens Kenneth

    Status Update:

I am using a valid wildcard certificate and if go to the webclient no errors are detected but now I have a white bar where the addin box is with 1 button "OK". If I press it the box turns white and I cant do anything in it.

Authentication is UserName, both on the service tier and the web.config, also the Outlook sync just works (this goes over the Webservice not the webclient).

If I use the Outlook web client I found out that I used "servername.domain.local" as my IIS binding and this is not reachable from the internet. if I use "servername.westeurope.cloudapp.azure.com" as binding, it is reachable but the self signed certificate does not work than.

Can you check if it works on your web outlook client? Also try to restart NAV server.
