Hello AxMates

I have an issue about Ax 2012 Wms Module.

I am using cluster picking functionality on ax WMS module. my work template lines include; pick, Print and Put. I am using this work template for cluster picking. When my cluster is done, my work do not get close. it's status is waiting in process because of print step.

I checked WhsLicencePlateLabel table. any label hasn't created about my work. What should I do for my work get closed and my label be created?

Hi David, we are using a 'user work' menu item, with mode = work, use existing work ticked, and directed by = None.

This should prompt you to scan a licence plate/enter work ID, and will trigger the print function on the work ID and complete the work. I've been unable to find a hotfix for this from MSFT, and am still searching which is how I found your post. You should be able to use the complete work function on the work ID in the client also. Hi Ben

    Thank you for your reply.

So I will close work manually when I use cluster picking.

    Best Regards.

    Hi Ben,

I have had a same issue in D365FO where using 'Directed by=Cluster picking' , with 'Print' on the Work template does not generate the label. Also, although my work 'Pick' and 'Put' are completed but due to the 'Print' record, the Work status is still showing as 'In progress'.

I have tried your alternate solution and changed the 'Directed by=None', however it does not allow me to Cluster my picking work on the mobile device.

Hi Mohsin, if I understand your post correctly, you will complete the work with your Cluster picking profile, which will leave the 'print' line of the work 'open'. You will then need to use a different menu item with the same config as your snip above (mode=work, user existing work=ticked, directed by=none).

If you use this other menu item, and enter the outstanding work ID or target licence plate of the cluster, it should complete the 'print' work line and therefore close the work.

    I hope this helps.
