Good Day,

First question as my company support are nonplussed or unwilling.

I wish to export a basic overview of an opportunity (Child).

I have exported a template with entities that correspond (but do not match eaxactly) to the opportunity screen fields however once uploaded and generated the population of the fields in the template is erratic

Is there a way to define the entity in the relationship options that will match the fields?

Any help is much appreciated...

Hi Bob,

I'm afraid your company support does not understand you, neither do I.

I get you have a view with opportunities and you have selected 'Excel Templates' > 'Download template'. Right? Now you can modify the exported table (add columns, calculations, totals, etc) and add pivot tables, charts, formatting, titles. After that you upload your template in Dynamics. Of course the entity fields in your Opportunity forms are the same as the ones in the view and in the template.

What "entities" did you export?

What are the differences between the template fields and the opportunity form fields exactly? Maybe you can clarify this with an example.

What do you mean by generating the population of the fields?

What exactly is erratic?
