Lead scoring workflows and "sales-ready" leads

Hi all,

Im curious how you have set up workflows to automate the forwarding process of "market leads" and "sales leads".

  1. According to the documentation there should be an OOB plugin & workflow to handle this, but I cant seem to find it?
    "When a score reaches the sales-ready threshold, a plug-in automatically sets the sales-ready flag on the lead to *True. If a lead is scored by multiple models, the flag is set as soon as any model reaches the threshold. This triggers a workflow that automatically moves the lead to the sales-acceptance stage of the lead lifecycle. You can customise this workflow as needed."
  2. To whom does the lead get assigned to?
  3. How do you separate the two different lead types? I suppose I have to configure different views for Marketing & Sales based on if the lead is "Sales Ready" or not.
  4. Since we are integrating Dynamics 365 for marketing to an Dynamics 365 for Sales instance, there is already a lead process in place. How does the OOB Marketing lead process "connect" to the one we have in place? Do every user have to switch process manually based on if the lead is coming from market or manually registered by a salesperson?

I would greatly appreciate some more insights in this.

    Hello,

    I tried to respond as best as I could below;

    1. I can't locate the plugin but I tried a simple scenario where I included the condition to increase lead score by 100 per form submission and logged my sales ready score as 100. Then submitted a form and a few hours later my lead's sales ready flag was set to yes.

    2. Making the lead sales ready doesn't change the ownership of the lead unless there is a custom workflow for it.

    3. Yes views make sense to distinguish types of leads

    4. There is no integration between processes so users need to manually switch the business process in this case.

    Anyone know how to solve this issue regarding the OOB leadscore plugin?

    Tried with several different lead scoring models now which scores a lead over the Sales Ready threshold but the field "Sales ready" still remains as "No".
