Supply Schedule

Hi. We have created 12 months of demand & inventory forecasts, and have run master planning.  Our expectation is that MP will produce a number of planned production orders, planned purchase orders & planned transfer orders.   It has done this successfully.   Our issue is that when we run the supply schedule for any one of the products in this forecast group, the "Demand" row and the "Production Orders" row only show values from now until December 2015 inclusive.   We expected to see forecasts for 12 months to September 2016.

What would impact on this view?  Cheers.

    James,

Can you confirm that you're only having issues with the supply schedule form?  If you look at the net requirements profile for this product, is MRP properly generating the planned orders and seeing forecast?  Is it just that you can't see them on the supply schedule?

    Thanks,

    Jake

Check the time fences on the plan are set to override or not, after that check the item coverage code and the time fences at that level.

Many thanks.  We did check time fences.   Will do again.

    Hi James,

The settings for Master plan do have some time fences. By default many time fences are set to 100 days. Note that creating a master planning for 365 days can cause delays as it is a heavy task. It is not recommended to do this. If it is really required for your business, do some thorough performance tests with realistic data.
