Purchase Order - Quantity Getting Cancelled

Hi All,

My customer complained that some of the times, quantity is getting cancelled automatically without anyone entering it..

Do you have any insights on why? And does anyone faced these challenges?

Something like below..

Purchase Order - Quantity Getting Cancelled

Ah... there is an automatic feature for that... check under Inventory > Cards > Item Purchasing options. look on the bottom right for the Quantity Tolerance Shortage...

as the help says "If you marked Shortage, you can enter the percentage to use when the quantity received is less than the quantity ordered. If the difference between the quantity received and quantity ordered falls within the quantity tolerance percentage, the difference between the quantities is canceled and the status of a line item is automatically changed to change order, received, or closed. The status of the line item depends on whether or not the line item has been invoiced."

There is also a default on the Item Class that might have been rolled down to the item during setup or later... (but the Item card below controls this feature)
