object window does not support this property or method 'OnLoad'

Hello,

I created a custom entity and included a javascript web resource. After saving and publishing, I opened the entity form and I got this error prompt:

“There was an error with this field’s customized event.
Field:window
Event:onload
Error:Object doesn’t support property or method ‘Form_onload’

I checked the modules of the CRM website from the IIS manager to confirm if the Microsoft URL Rewrite module was present.

The web resource does not seem to take effect yet because of this error.

Please help.

Open the entity form and check whether it lists the web resource file that you added or not?

May be because of browser issue even though you selected to add web resource it may not added to the form.

Try with Firefox to add web resource to your form, add your method to onload event, save and publish it.

    Thanls a lot Chitra,

I tried using firefox, its still the same problem.

I used method '$x.OnLoad' to the onload event and even used other functions that were defined in the web resource, still no luck.

    Hi Jeremiah,

This is a very generic error message which occurs from a JScript Code.

Please post your code and the screen dump of the Form Properties window showing the calling function.

    Hope that helps
