Problem While Importing Security Setting

Hi all,

          we have created a new module in dynamics ax and set security settings(permissions) and export it to a .asg file.And now when we import it into another AOS security settings are not getting set as we have set them already in existing server.

Is there any other dependency other than just importing the .asg file?

    Does your custom module and related security keys exist on the AOS that you are importing into?

    Hi Bob,

       Yes. New Module and Security keys are available in AOS of destination server. but, there is no permissions for user groups in destination server which is set already in source server, Even after imported (.asg files) from source server.

     If I recall correctly, the export / import for permissions only do so for base security keys and do not work for custom modules / forms / tables.
