POS allowing retail channel configuration utility to have mismatching store ID and register ID

Consider store ID: 1001 with register ID 100101 mapped to it.

Now consider store ID: 2001 with register ID 200101 mapped to it.

On the 1001 store server while configuring the retail channel configuration utility, if we mistakenly entered 200101 as the register ID, the POS still allows you to operate it.

Is there any configuration that allows the POS to validate the correct store ID/register ID combination before opening the POS?
