Hi,
i would like to get insights in the Portal logins over a period of time, this because of the upcomming change in licenses. Is this information available (and if so, where can i find it)?
Kind regards, Jos
An easy yet not accurate one is to use google analytics on your portal and you should be able to get some averages. This means that you need to delay moving to the new portal licencing for few months (which I think can be done as the change is not needed to happen now).
The other option (my preferred one) is to use a sitesetting called "Authentication/LoginTrackingEnabled". This will set a last login field on the contact which means you can see based on this datetime label, how many logins happens in some amount of time and then you can estimate your licencing needs. IF you don't have this setting enabled, enable it for a month and analyze the data.
Omar,
thanks, i read the post and this is clear. But how do i determine how many portal-logins we have from our customers so i know which package i should buy?
Here is a great detailed post by MVP Colin Vermander, colinvermander.com/.../
Thanks
