We have a client that recently upgrade. They were on GP 16.00.0741 and they were upgraded to 18.2.1036.
This morning, they went in to process payroll. They were able to print checks, but while posting GP gets the "GP has stopped working" error and closes out. When we open it back up, GP says the batch is "posting". We have backups so we restored that company back to an hour or so earlier to process again. It failed. I restored back again, followed the instructions in this KB article (https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/851664/error-message-when-you-select-a-batch-in-the-build-payroll-checks-wind), and then tried again. It failed.
Has anyone seen issues like this since they upgraded/updated? I am not sure where to go from here.
