Hello everyone,

I am trying to change my RTC WorK Date which is stand at a date back in 2018.

The date changes normal but when i restart the client i get the old again.

I've read stuff around that it may be caused of Demo Company settings?

I am not sure i am using a demo company.( i dont think i do )

Thanks in advance.

    Hi,

What you mentioned is the standard behavior. Below what is says in MSDN:

    Important
The work date is only changed until you close the company or until the date changes. If you open a different company or open the same company the next day and still have to use a different work date, then you must set the work date again. (Link)

If you check the Codeunit 40 ("LogINManagement") LogInStart function you will notice that WorkDate is getting set there. In the GetDefaultWorkDate() function it checks if the company is DEMO, if so it takes the GLEntry Posting Date as WorkDate. In the Company Information check if the company is marked as "Demo Company" which will not allow you to change the date at all.
