Reorganized transactions not reflected

Dear all,

The function "reorganize transactions" within the "settle transactions" screen for customers is really usefull in reflecting customer-agreements in case a payment-plan has been agreed as our business-administration should always reflect the actual situation. As i am new to this function, i am al little bit disappointed as when i return from the "settle transactions" screen into another screen (e.g.transactions on the customer), collection details for the customer after updatin the snapshot, reports such as statements etc... the payment plan (reorganized transaction) is not reflected. Sometimes there is just a minor marking with a message stating there is a payment plan existing.

Is that really Ax2012 has to offer by default? Has D365 improved in that area?

kind regards,

Jo

    hi Ludwig,

After spending quite some efforts i found how to display the reorganized transactions. I have only found an option in the customer-statement (report) where you can activate "show payment schedule". If you tick this option and run the report, it includes the payment-details. This is off course already somehting. Ax should have a similar option in the transaction detail grid-view as an option. With regards, to D365 i was unable to find anything on this topic which makes me believe this function has probably not changed.

Finally, we have a first outlook as to when we are migrating to D365 but i guess this is going to be a huge undertaking requiring a lot of time & efforts.

    kind regards,

    Hello Jo,

Did you find the answer to your question and do you plan to move to D365FO anytime in the near future?

    Best regards,

    Ludwig

    Hi Jo,

In D365FO there have been a number of changes implemented when it comes to settlements in AP, AR, GL etc.

You can find the various changes here:

    Best regards,

    Ludwig
