Deleting a Production Instance

Hello All

Would like to know if we can delete the production instance directly on Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement or it needs to be placed on to a Sandbox mode and only then it can be deleted.

Appreciate the input.

Hi,

You should be able to delete Production instance without being placed on to a sandbox.

The URL of a deleted environment can't be used again for another environment until at least 24 hours have passed since the environment deletion

Also the deleted environment URL may not be available for use for 7 days.
