Hi Everyone,

I want to transfer remaining budget register entries to other dimension, do we have out of the box process for it in AX2012 R3?. [if not] how do I customize and where this functionally to fulfil business requirement.

Suppose, I have budget register entries 50,000 USD with [Status Completed] and I have utilized 30,000 USD with the following dimension. Now, I want to change business unit and cost center only for remaining budget.

Client is using this functionally for employee medical budget, and business unit and cost center can be changed of any employee during fiscal year. such as employee is working in cost center [Finance -101] during fiscal year he shifted to [Supply Chain-110].

Expenses are entering from Enterprise Portal [EP Module] using "Expense Category".

Yes, you transfer the budget as per the requirements.

Make sure you have proper budget type codes and the use budget registry:
