The eConnect node for SOP lines(taSOPLineIvcInsert) has quantity fields. My question is do I need to set the values for QUANTITY or TOTALQTY if I am setting the values for
QTYTBAOR
QTYCANCE
QTYFULFI
is there any automatic computation of QUANTITY?
I have an odd situation where I export sales orders out to a WMS which imports this data into their system. They perform the actual shipping.
What they send back to GP are the quantities actually shipped. So in this scenario I believe all I need to be concerned with is QTYTBAOR.
So if the order goes out with QUANTITY 10, that will never change. The only variable is QTYSHIPPD.
So QTYTBAOR will equal QUANTITY minus QTYSHIPPED. If all quantities shipped , QTYTBAOR will be zero.
So as long as eConnect does not try to do any computations for QUANTITY I should be good.
Since eConnect does not really support updating a sales order this routine actually resends each line.
