Hi Friends,

I tried to run 'Get-AXModelManifest -Model myModel', in management shell, it's not problem before, now, I got

"Get-AXModelManifest : The pipeline has been stopped.at line: 1 char:1

*CategoryInfo : OperationStopped: [Get-AXModelManifest], PipelineStoppedException

*FullyQualifiedErrorId : Microsoft Dynamics AX 6.0 not found in the registry. Please specify the /db switch."

Is some configuration changed? how to fix it?

Seems it can't determine from your registry which model database to connect to. There can be many reasons for that, for example multiple (or no) AX installations on this machine.

You can follow the instructions of the message and specify the environment information for the command.

    docs.microsoft.com/.../get-axmodelmanifest

Basically you can specify two parameters:

    -Server (the database server name)

    -Database (the model database name).

    Hi Nikolaso,

Thanks, I made it work. But, I'd like to find out what changed since I never had problem. Can you give me a few clues?

I think I already gave some possible explanations. Also maybe you are running it on a different system than before.

    Hi Nikolaos,

Server configuration utility under 'administrative tools' is missing, I guess that's problem, Do you know how can I get it back?

Just install the management utilities from AX installation package.
